a bright flash of lightening, followed by a gigantic roar of thunder, lit up her hospital room, Carol said "It was not
storming at the time, and they all knew that God was with us and had taken Ali to be with him." Carol added
"I set a goal of $1000. dollars for my team to reach, when I signed up with the team, I didn't have one single person
saying they would help me raise this money, or even walk the track, I did this completely by faith!" She continued by

Happy Anniversary to Howard and Cheryl
Hood May 28, Trenton and Stephanie Kerbersky May 30, and to Don and Lois Wachter June 2. Last
week I made homemade chicken noodle soup, I've made this several times before, but this
time I added a new ingredient, fresh wild leaks, it made the soup very tasty, it's a good thing I only used a very few
because they are very powerful in flavor! I remember, when I was in high school, one boy ate a bunch of leaks, he
could be smelled a mile away, believe it or not, he got sent home. If you've ever ate wild leaks, you know the
smell stays with you a long time, so the next day wasn't much better. But that's what spring time, in the Upper Peninsula,
is all about; fresh wild leaks, wild mushrooms, smelt and sucker fishing! Until next time,
take care!

This Easter, why not color your eggs using nature's very own dyes? There
are a great number of colors using natural ingredients like, fresh beets or cranberries, frozen raspberries orange or
lemon peels, carrots, canned blueberries or red cabbage leaves. Put eggs in a single layer in a pan, pour water in pan until
the eggs are covered, add about a teaspoon of vinegar, then the natural ingredient, bring water to a boil, reduce
heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove the substance you used to color the eggs. Put eggs in a bowl. If you want your eggs
to be a darker shade, cover them with the dye and let them stand overnight in the refrigerator.
Have
a wonderful Easter, on Sunday, April 12.

hurt! Let me know what your favorite "April Fools Day" memory was, you can email
me or send a letter, pictures are always a nice addition to your story! When writing, please be sure to add your name

In the United States, Tax Day is the common term for the day on which tax returns (statements
about income taxes) are due to the federal and state governments from U.S. citizens, resident aliens, and certain nonresident aliens. More specifically, this is the last day on which tax returns
can be mailed (as postmarked) to avoid penalties, with some exceptions. In the United States, Tax Day has usually been April 15 since 1955.
