Engadine Heritage Day

Engadine Heritage Day tool place at the Garfield Township Hall and Engadine Mill Pond Park and Pavilion on July 22, 2007. A quilt show was held
at the Engadine Schools Gymnasium. The quilt to be raffled was on display, at various places, who also sold raffle tickets.
BBQ Beef Sandwiches and Hot Dog Meals with a drink was
available at the Garfield Town Hall, beginning at noon and the popular Strawberry Shortcakes with ice cream or whipped
topping was served also!
Flag Raising was held at 1 p.m. which started off the
afternoon with a variety of music in the park, arts and crafts shows, antique cars and tractors and more. Museum tours ran
from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Children’s activities were held on the Mill Pond
Park grounds and a favorite activity is learning how to make their own fishing flies, with fly tying.
The quilt raffle was held at 5 p.m. at the pavilion.
Many people came for the day and enjoy themselves!
